تیروئید غده کوچکی است که روی گردن و در زیر برجستگی غضروف تیروئید بنام سیب آدم قرار دارد. این غده شبیه یک پروانه است که دو بال آن در دو طرف گردن قرار دارد. کار این غده تولید، ذخیره‌سازی و آزاد کردن هورمون تیروئید به داخل جریان خون است. هورمون تیروئید نه تنها به کنترل اعمال بدن کمک می‌کند بلکه روی رشد و نمو سلول‌های بدن نیز تاثیر می‌گذارد.

One of the main features of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is increased adipose tissue, which can result in hormonal disturbances. In the present study, we aimed to investigate which indicator of obesity could better associate with hormonal disturbances in PCOS women.

The growing prevalence of obesity has become a major concern worldwide, therefore a great number of studies are conducted every day in the field of obesity. Since postbiotics are a newly introduced term, there is not much systematic evidence about their function and impact on obesity. We designed this study to systematically review the effect of different types of postbiotics on obesity.
