One of the main features of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is increased adipose tissue, which can result in hormonal disturbances. In the present study, we aimed to investigate which indicator of obesity could better associate with hormonal disturbances in PCOS women.

The growing prevalence of obesity has become a major concern worldwide, therefore a great number of studies are conducted every day in the field of obesity. Since postbiotics are a newly introduced term, there is not much systematic evidence about their function and impact on obesity. We designed this study to systematically review the effect of different types of postbiotics on obesity.

شمین همایش بین‌المللی و هشتمین همایش سراسری تازه‌های غدد و متابولیسم که در اصفهان برگزار شد، دکتر باقر لاریجانی، رئیس پژوهشگاه علوم غدد و مرکز تحقیقات غدد و متابولیسم دانشگاه علوم پزشکی تهران، با اشاره به روند رو به رشد شیوع دیابت، به ویژه در منطقه خاورمیانه و شمال آفریقا، اظهار داشت: تنها در ایران حدود ۸ میلیون بیمار دیابتی وجود دارد که این رقم فراتر از برآوردهای بین‌المللی است و زنگ خطری برای نظام سلامت کشور محسوب می‌شود
