Education and Training
The Endocrinology Research Center strives to achieve its educational vision through the following initiatives:
• Residency and fellowship programs: The center offers structured training programs aligned with established curricula.
• Conferences and seminars: Both domestic and international events are organized to disseminate research findings in the field of endocrinology.
• Short-term workshops: These workshops aim to enhance the knowledge of healthcare providers in endocrinology. Development and dissemination of clinical guidelines and protocols within the field of endocrinology.
Research
The Endocrinology Research Center is committed to achieving its research goals through the following strategies:
• Establishment of new research units: The center plans to expand its research capabilities by creating new units focused on endocrinology.
• Implementation of a patient registry: A comprehensive database of patients with endocrine disorders will be established to facilitate research.
• Launch of a clinical research network: The center aims to establish a network of hospitals affiliated with Tehran University of Medical Sciences for conducting clinical research.
• Creation of a rare disease registry: A registry will be developed to collect data on rare endocrine disorders.
• Collaboration with non-governmental research centers: Partnerships with other research centers will be fostered to enhance research capacity.
• Engagement with student research centers: The center will collaborate with student research centers to leverage student research potential and attract student theses.
• Implementation of convergent research: Research projects will be designed to address the specific needs of the community in the field of endocrine and metabolic diseases.
• Promotion of interdisciplinary research: The center will foster research activities that integrate knowledge from various disciplines related to endocrinology and metabolism.
• Development of national and international collaborations: The center will build networks with other institutions to facilitate collaborative research in endocrinology.
